Hawk Walks
Meet our friendly Falconer and his incredible Harris hawk, Typhon, during this unique live falconry experience. Watch as they roam the resort, working together to naturally and safely keep unwanted birds under control. Guests are invited to observe, learn about the art of falconry, and see Typhon’s impressive skills up close.
Look for them on Saturdays from 9 am to 11 am and Wednesdays from 2 pm to 5 pm.

In addition to being a beautiful place to enjoy the sun, our beach is an important nesting area for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle. Hatchlings are instinctually drawn to the water by the moonlight over the Gulf waters, and artificial light will disorient them.
Please close your blackout drapes by 8:45 pm nightly between May 1 and October 31 to comply with state law.
Please Respect Resting Birds
JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort has partnered with Audubon Western Everglades and Audubon Florida to protect the birds that use this beach to rest and feed. You can help by walking calmly around the flocks, and not feeding any birds.
In winter, these birds are foraging and resting to store energy for migration. In summer, they are trying to raise their chicks.
